'Big Bambu: You Can't, You Don't, and You Won't Stop', 2010

Invited by the Metropolitan Museum of Art (NYC) to create a site-specific installation for their roof garden, Big Bambu was a constantly evolving and growing, structural folly composed entirely of bamboo and hitched together with nylon rope. Constructed by a team of artists and rock climbers, the eastern portion of the sculpture reached an elevation of 50 feet. Big Bambu was also recreated for the 54th Venice Biennale.
